The effective
evangelismerror is in
thinking that only specialists can do evangelism. While I do not agree
with everything that he has written, Lewis Sperry Chafer, founder of the
Dallas Theological Seminary, got this right when he wrote,evangelism ministry This
ministry gift (Eph. 4:1113) of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, and
pastor and teacher should be distinguished from the enduement for
service bestowed upon the individual believer (1 Cor. 12:431; Rom.
12:38).
